Cape Cod Remodel Cape cod homes have very unique layouts and living spaces. These spaces lend themselves well to the use of built-ins. The photos shown below are of a second floor cape cod remodel that required a complete tear-out in order to reconfigure the layout to maximize the functional living space. We rebuilt many walls, updated the electrical and insulation, replaced the drywall and brought the doorways and fire alarms up to code. We were able to customize the rooms and free up living space by creating several built-in furniture units, including a custom cubby area for the television, a built-in dresser, a swinging bookcase door for one attic storage area in bedroom 1, and two custom raised panel doors for the attic storage areas in bedroom 2.
